Core responsibilities
How we recruit
Data Platform Engineers who can actually do the work
Our screening
We assess automation, observability, access control, cost, and incident recovery for the platform itself. That operational scope is distinct from a Data Engineer's primary ownership of pipeline and transformation logic.
Why this hire is hard to get right
This role blends data, infrastructure, and operations. Engineers who can do all three well are scarce and highly sought after.
